Mixed Media Drawing and Painting 8 week course starting on Tues 21th October 2pm- 4pm
. Duration:2 hrs··. Price:£130
On this course you will explore drawing, mark making and painting with a range of different materials. You will be encouraged to experiment, to try new ideas, take risks and develop or reinvent your own style. We will look at other artists for inspiration and explore a range of themes such as the natural world, elements, colour, dreams.
All materials will be provided, all you need is a willingness to give it a go!
This class is relaxed, friendly and supportive with a well earned tea break at half time!

Make your own stained glass/painted glass decoration.
Lisa will guide you step by step, you will learn the basics of working with glass and create your own unique glass hanging to add a touch of magic to your home or give as a gift! Relaxed atmosphere, music and refreshments.
Itinerary:
Start at 2pm although you are welcome to arrive from 1.45pm
Meet and greet - welcome and introductions
Demonstration - tutor led demo of Tiffany Technique, taping and soldering safely.
Practical - hands on, create your own stained glass decoration, your tutor will be on hand to support you.
Finale! Festive refreshments and wrap up your special gifts to take away.
Venue:
Fletchers Mill, Community Arts School, (ACDC) Dean Clough. We will send you google maps link and directions to parking. There is plenty of parking directly outside the building.
Access: There is no disabled toilet in Fletchers Mill, although there is one in the main Dean Clough building. The workshop is on the first floor, there is a stair lift, but no lift.
After you have booked you will receive a welcome email with all the above details including map/parking/ contact details.

This is an 8 week arts and crafts course with a focus on wellbeing. Would you like time out for yourself to create art, meet new friends, relax, drink tea and listen to music in a supportive, friendly atmosphere? The Yellow Teapot Art Club is an informal art course, open to adults of all abilities who would like to have fun, explore working with a range of materials and techniques. A new activity to try each week. Lisa will introduce you to a range of exciting projects such as collage, drawing and painting, mark making, book binding, printing, mixed media, mosaic, needle felting, textile art, paper making and more.

Spaces are limited so book early especially if you plan to come with friends and family. Children over the age of 9 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult participant.
